Coaches
The coach network operated by Scottish Citylink covers almost all the major routes within Scotland. Inverness has regular coach connections with Glasgow, Edinburgh, Fort William, Oban, Ullapool, Aberdeen, Wick, Isle of Skye, etc. Visit the Citylink web site for coach timetables.
Trains
Inverness is also well served by trains on the railway lines to/from Glasgow-Edinburgh/Perth, Aberdeen, Wick and Kyle of Lochalsh/Skye.

Planes
Dalcross International Airport is 8 miles east of Inverness. There is a bus service between the airport and city centre (approx. every 45 minutes at peak time). Taxis available, also car hire at the airport.
There are daily flights to/from London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Edinburgh, as well as Orkney and the Hebrides. In addition, EasyJet operates cheap flights from Luton.
